Information
On arrival one of Badger Bush Lodge's representatives will meet you at the airport. After the hunt is completed you will be dropped off at the airport again. * All ground transportation will be taken care of by Badger Bush Lodge's representatives or transport company.
Hunting
*The hunting will start early morning. We hunt till lunch time. Depending on type of hunt we will either return to camp for lunch or lunch boxes will be provided. * The afternoon session will then take place.
Trophies
*Trophies will be skinned and salted at our lodge. Any preparation of raw materials can take up to 6 months to be exported due to the Department of Nature Conservation, that must issue documentation.
Clothing and Gear
* Camo Shirts - long and short sleeved * Camo pants * Camo Jacket + Sweater / Warm clothes * Socks, Hat, Sun Screen, Sun Glasses, Bug Spray * Camera, Binoculars, Video camera, Flashlight and batteries. * Our power points are 220volts. We have 3 prong electrical plugs * Most important your Bow and Rifle. * We are a malaria free area, feel free to take some tablets in case you travel or tour in other areas. * Alarm clock * Make sure your hunting boots are comfortable.
Temperatures
During our winter from May to end of August, temperatures can drop below 0 (Zero) Celsius in the morning and late evenings.
Winter +/- 32 Degrees Fahrenheit minimum and +/- 75 Degrees Fahrenheit maximum.
Summer +/- 80 Degrees Fahrenheit minimum and +/- 110 Degrees Fahrenheit maximum.
Medical
* We are a Malaria Free area. Precausions must be taken if hunting in other areas or touring. * Any other medication must be brought with on Safari to Africa.
Liability
Badger Bush Lodge will ensure utmost safety to our clients. We cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, illness or accidents or any expenses of above. Hunters and Observers will be obligated to sign an Indemnity form exonerating Badger Bush Lodge from any indemnity.
